SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Professional Development Plan for the 2008-2009 school year, as submitted.
7. Appointment of Additional Inspectors and Assistant Clerks for District Vote of Capital Improvement Project
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education appoint additional Inspectors and Assistant Clerks for the District Vote of Capital Improvement Project on December 16, 2008, as submitted.
8. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated December 15, 2008, regarding acceptance of a donation from Ann Comley of a 27 inch television for use at Lincoln Elementary School, as submitted.
9. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated December 15, 2008, regarding acceptance of a donation from the New York Education Department of computers and miscellaneous computer equipment, as submitted.
10. Resolution: Withdraw and Amend the 2008-2009 School Tax Rolls
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated December 15, 2008, to withdraw and amend the 2008-2009 School Tax Rolls, as submitted.
11. Designate Pioneer Savings Bank as an Additional Official Depository
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Pioneer Savings Bank as an additional official depository for the deposit of all monies received by the School District.
12. Communications
a. SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Linda Podolec, Stenographer (Pupil Personnel Services), effective c.o.b. January 30, 2009, with appreciation for her service to the district.

a. Staffing
1) SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education rescind the probationary appointment of Norman Uhlinger as Automotive Mechanic (Transportation), and further grant him a temporary appointment to the same position, in accordance with Civil Service Regulations, effective August 26, 2008, with no change in current rate of pay.
2) SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the appointment of Bruce Bucciferro, as an occasional student worker (Athletic Department), in accordance with the current Local 766 contract, at the rate of $7.73/hour, for the 2008-2009 school year.
3) SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following list of Athletic Contest Chaperones, in accordance with the current SGTA contract, at the rate of $16.38/hour, for the 2008-2009 school year:
