5. Adopt 2005-2006 School Calendar
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the 2005-2006 school calendar, as submitted.
6. Request for Overnight Trip – Glen-Worden Grade 5 to Camp Chingachgook
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the overnight trip for Glen-Worden grade 5 students and chaperones to Camp Chingachgook in Lake George, NY, to participate in the Outdoor Education Program from September 29-30, 2005.
7. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation for Arts in Education Program
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the Resolution to Accept the Gift and Donation for the Arts in Education Program, dated April 11, 2005, as submitted.
8. Resolution: Agreement with O-C-M BOCES to
Participate in Energy Purchasing Services
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the Resolution to
Participate in Energy Purchasing Services with O-C-M BOCES and authorize the President of
the Board to sign the agreement.

10. Communications
a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Linda C. Lewis, School Psychologist (Sacandaga School, effective c.o.b. June 30, 2005, with appreciation for her service to the district.
b. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Kathleen A. Lake, English Teacher (Middle School), effective c.o.b. October 7, 2005, with appreciation for her service to the district.
c. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education
accept the letter of resignation of Roberta DeLong, Typist (Middle School
Guidance Office and District-wide Records Management Clerk), effective c.o.b.
April 22, 2005, in order for her to accept the position as District Clerk.
11. Report of Superintendent
a. Tenure Recommendations
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Cathleen C. Barrett, permanently certified as a School Psychologist, be granted tenure as a School Psychologist, effective September 1, 2005.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Brenda J. Coelho, provisionally certified as a Special Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Teacher of Children with Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area), effective September 1, 2005.
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Amanda L. Faulkner, permanently certified as an English Teacher, be granted tenure as an English Teacher, effective September 1, 2005.
4) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Sarah E. Hoffmann, provisionally certified as a Special Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Teacher of Children with Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area), effective September 1, 2005.
5) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Janet S. Mallozzi, permanently certified as a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages, be granted tenure as a Teacher of English as a Second Language, effective September 1, 2005.
6) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Timothy R. O'Connell, provisionally certified as a School Counselor, be granted tenure as a Guidance Counselor, effective September 1, 2005.
7) Superintendent's Recommendation: That David J. Versocki, permanently certified as a Mathematics Teacher, be granted tenure as a Mathematics Teacher, effective September 1, 2005.
8) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Susan J. Holub-McCann, permanently certified as a Reading Teacher, be granted tenure as a Remedial Reading Teacher, effective December 1, 2005.
b. Staffing
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
probationary appointment of Roberta DeLong as District Clerk
(Management/Confidential) (Business Office), effective April 25, 2005, in
accordance with Civil Service Regulations, and approve the 2004-2005 and
2005-2006 contracts, as submitted.
