The
primary purpose of The New York State Business and Marketing Honor
Society, a part of the
Business Teachers Association of New York State,
is to recognize those students who have demonstrated outstanding
achievement in a secondary Business/Marketing program.
Sophomores and juniors selected for this honor must have a minimum of two units of Business/Marketing course work and seniors must have three units of Business/Marketing course work.
In addition, the student must maintain an 88% Business/Marketing Course GPA as well as a minimum overall GPA of 80%. All Business and Marketing Honor Society candidates must also demonstrate good character, leadership qualities, and service to their school and/or community.
