Congratulations to the following elementary, middle and high school students who have been selected to participate in the second annual Schenectady County Music Festival. Scotia-Glenville will be hosting this festival on February 6 and will have students from Schenectady, Mohonasen, Schalmont, Niskayuna and Scotia-Glenville participating.

Rehearsals will take place on February 5 and 6.

The concert will take place at 3pm on Saturday, Feb. 6. The concert ticket price is $2 per person with a maximum of $10 for a family and tickets can be purchased at the door.

The 5th and 6th grade band will include: Lindsay Dieterich, Margaret Holley, Kelsey Jessup, Brooke Joy, Zachary Ladouceur, Kelsey Martin, Jacob May, Erik Tomlinson and Trevor Wheelock.

The middle school orchestra includes: Madeline Corcoran, Matthew Forshey, Madison Hempstead, Sabrina Long, Gracie Mailey, Avery Maycock, Bailey McKenna, Autumn Mitchell, Michael Palleschi, Pam Rice, Michaela Salamone, Danielle Valachovic and Jonathan Wilding.

The middle school chorus includes: Billy Bean, Kim Denny, Kathryn DuBrey, Bill Hanley, Charlene Hofer, Branndi Introne, Taylor Mathias, Shannon McNamara, William Pattee, Lily Pierce, Devin Ramsey, Drake Rudolph, Taylor Santabarbara, Lydia Schips, Carolyn Sennecca, Christopher Sennecca, Zach Thompson, Kevin Turner and Lydia Zhou.

The high school jazz band will include: Evan Long, Evan Marre, Will McMaster, Matthew Paparella and Joe Rafalak.
