Cheerleaders place 2nd and 11th at national event

Members of Scotia-Glenville's varsity cheerleading team placed second in the medium varsity division at the Contest of Champions Cheerleading Nationals in Orlando, Florida on February 27.

They also placed 11th overall out of 42 teams.

The team has been doing throughout their season this year. They also placed:

First in small varsity at the Guilderland Big Red Rah Rah
Second in medium varsity at the Schenectady Midnight Madness
First in small varsity at the UAlbany Sweetheard Showdown
First and grand champions at the Elmira College Cheer Challenge.
