The 260 students at Glen-Worden Elementary School recognized Veterans Day during Morning Program today.

Teacher Maria Maynard and Library Media Specailist Liz Ryan, joined by music teacher Pete Rizzo, showed various images of Veterans Day , including a You Tube video, and pictures brought in by students of relatives and friends who had served in the armed forces.

Students were asked to stand when the photo of their relative was shown on the screen. The picture below shows some of the students during that part of the program.
