Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to participate in the first All County Music Festival. The Festival will be held on February 7 at the Scotia-Glenville High School . We will be attending the solo, ensemble, all-state and jazz festival of NYSSMA on May 29-30, 2009. This is the only festival we will be participating in this year. It will be held at Amsterdam Middle School. Further information will be available later in the year.

The Piano Only NYSSMA Festival will be held on March 13-14, 2009 at St. Rose College. The updated registration information is now available on the web site.

Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to participate in the Suburban Council Middle School Festival to be held on January 10 at Ballston Spa High School. In the Band: Jennifer Mayette, Abby Pietrow (clarinet); Nathaniel Phillips (French Horn);Erica Stockman, Christian Rizzuto (percussion); Sierra Plemenik (tenor sax); and Bailey Mertz (trombone). In the orchestra: Bailey McKenna and Danielle Valachovic (violins). In chorus: Sophie Constantino, Lily Pierce, Rebecca Zoeller, Rebecca Kraines, Colter Carlstedt, Drake Rudolph, Taylor Santabarbara, Jenna Grady, and Megan Zeglen. In the orchestra in the percussion section: Joshua Mau and David Krisher.
