Art Department News

The High School seniors will have a Art Porfolio exhibit and reception on Monday, January 12 at 6:30 PM in the D Wing of the high school. Music will be provided by high school students and refreshments compliments of the Art Club. The public is welcome to attend. This exhibit shows the growth of the art students work over their high school career.

The 19th NYSATA Legislative Art Show will take place this month. This exhibit is organized annually to showcase student achievement in the visual arts. The work will be on display from January 16-23 in the "Well" of the Legislative Office Building on State Street in Albany. The opening reception is on Wednesday, January 21 from 12:30-2PM. Representing the middle school students of Mrs. Judi McClure are: Abigail Pietrow and Alexis Webb both 8th grade students. Middle School students of Mrs. Emily Juda include: Sarah Ryle (grade 7) and Troy Gapczynski (grade 6). Representing Lincoln Elementary students of Mrs. Adrienne Hall are: Samantha Mabie (grade 5) and Lily Murphy (grade 3). Mrs. Adrienne Hall's Glendaal Elementary students are: Kayla Aydlott (grade 4) and Jenna Stuart (grade 3). Congratulations to all of the students.
