Expected timeline for Scotia-Glenville building project

June 28-Sept. 1, 2010

High School: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating), demolish front canopy, replace from sidewalk, technology shop ventilation upgrades, reconstruct track, install HVAC piping for furnace upgrade. There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Middle School: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating) and relate computer system servers and head end, reconstruct roof areas, renovate library (6/10-2/11 – library to be relocated to small gym); modify fire alarm system (6/10-2/11). There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Glendaal Elementary: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating), install new canopy over back steps, install new asphalt in rear play area and upgrade boiler system controls (6/10-8/11). There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Glen-Worden Elementary: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating), reconstruct roof areas, replace metal panels on roof and reconstruct entrance road. There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Lincoln Elementary: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating), reconstruct roof areas and reconstruct chimney. There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Sacandaga Elementary: technology upgrades(wiring, relocating), reconstruct roof areas and install new access ladder and hatch. There are a number of alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Bus Garage: technology upgrades (wiring, relocating), reconstruct roof areas and upgrade electrical service.

District Office: relocate existing technology data room to Middle School and install new salt storage building.

High School: replace public address system, handsets and clocks; replace exterior and interior doors and hardware; brick infill at canopy removals; library renovations; bleacher and pressbox replacements; and boiler replacement. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Middle School: replace public address system, handsets and clocks and replace interior doors and hardware. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Glendaal Elementary: replace public address system, handsets and clocks and water heater upgrade. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Glen-Worden Elementary: replace public address system, handsets and clocks. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Lincoln Elementary: replace public address system, handsets and clocks. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.

Sacandaga Elementary: replace public address system, handsets and clocks. There are alternates that may be considered depending on the bid prices received in May.
